Analog Phones, Fax's and More
Let me introduce you to Tip and Ring.
One pair is all it takes for an analog phone.
Tip is the Transmit side of the wire.
Ring is the Receive side of the wire.
It takes both to be connected in order to work.
But if they touch each other..... It shorts out and nothing works.
A Cat5/6 patch Cable will need to be ran from MDF/IDF to the Network Port on the unit, to connect with the
